April Challenge - Week Three

I did much better this past week.  Spent $63.94 and saved $90
What did we eat last week you might ask??  We ate well all three meals at home, except one.
Dinners : crockpot chicken, pot roast, chicken on the grill, hamburgers, just to name a few!
This coming week will be harder with two stores doing triples:)

Harris Teeter to Triple next week!!!

It’s official, or as official as you can get, that starting 4/28 through 5/4 Harris Teeter will have Triples! This means that any coupon 99 cents or less will be tripled in value.


You are allowed 20 tripled coupons per day. Southern Savers will have a massive Triples list up for you by Saturday night.

Somethings I learned at Harris Teeter this week.

Harris Teeter is cracking down on using Two coupons for BOGO.  When they advertise BOGO it is really half price/half price.  I went on the web site and it does state that you can only use one coupon for BOGO.  So what I suggest is two transactions, so you will get them for half price in each transaction.

They will only take two internet coupons for like items.  So if you buy 2 boxes of Cheerios cereal and you have 2 internet coupons, one for each box, that is fine.  But if you want 3 boxes and 3 internet coupons they won't let you.  So again I would try two transactions.

First Week of the April Challenge

I spent $98.06 last week.  A little more then I wanted to spend.  I went into Aldi and got a little carried away.  I had to remind myself that you need to stick to the list.  But I am still under $100, which I am away happy about.
